How Do I measure a Backset?
Measure the distance from the outer edge of the door, to the center of the crossbore hole. You can also measure the distance from the outer edge of the door to the highest point of the crossbore hole.
Standard backset measurement is 2-3/8", some doors may measure 2-3/4". If your door measures 2-3/4", some products, like the Trilennium locking system will need to be ordered as a custom product.
